WHICH IS BIGGER: Tyson Fury vs Oleskandr Usyk OR Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford

Which is the bigger fight? Which generates the most amount of money? Which will do more PPV buys globally?

I think Canelo vs Crawford is bigger. In the US and Mexico it will probably do double the PPV buys Fury vs Usyk will do.

 

More people know of Usyk and Fury than Crawford.

 

Fury-Usyk. It's a monumental fight.

 

Canelo and Crawford are frauds.

 

Canelo is a bum. Crawford is a bigger cherry picker than Usyk & Fury combined.

 

Crawford is still not very well known; Canelo vs Crawford to casuals would just be Canelo vs another smaller guy

Fury vs Usyk is the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world.

 

Fury -Usyk for HW undisputed. Nothing in boxing is bigger right now.

 

Canelo Crawford is a stupid fight. Weight classes exist for a reason

 

Surprised by the results tbh. I'd say Crawford/Canelo. For one it has much more appeal in the no1 market because its an American vs a Mexican.

Fury/Usyk is nowhere near as big as AJ/Wilder or AJ/Fury made at their peaks would have been.

 

Fury v Usyk for all the heavyweight marbles.

 

Benavidez Canelo is still the biggest imo. Crawford has never been a draw and it will be a circus fight while the Benavidez fight will be seen as far more legitimate.

 

Fury Usyk. Biggest HW fight since the 90s. Usyk Canelo has come out of nowhere & theres no telling how Crawford will do at 168. If that's the weight.. you will see more skill in Canelo versus Crawford but that's because they are smaller men.. Crawford has no history at any weight above WW tho.. and I'm not convinced he's going to be strong enough for Canelo because he's been hurt by small men.. if Crawford does jump up three weights then this fight should be seen as more of a gimmick if it weren't for what we know of Terrence Crawfords real weight and weight grifting history & the fact that Canelo isnt a big SMW

If you can, forget for a moment the character, name and work of both Usyk and Fury. Remember that there has been no undisputed heavyweight champion for nearly a quarter of a century. Since 1999 and Lennox Lewis. There has been no undisputed heavyweight champion for 24 years. Whoever fights for the title of undisputed heavyweight champion after all this time, it would be above Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford.

 

HW undisputed is the whole point of boxing.

HW is the marquee division and we've never had an undisputed champion since 1999. That's by far the longest period in the history of the sport where there wasn't an undisputed HW champion. And now we could have one, for the first time in the four belt era to boot.
