Only they were wrong weren't they. Shalom had bigger and better plans in the background all along. The facts are staring you in the face, but why let facts get in the way of your agenda eh.

100%. They could even return to the Vitality Stadium. Also a nice story as it would be a rematch. Unfortunately I think Sky will want it on PPV for £19.99.

Watch out - you'll get called a hater (despite the fact its the same 1 or 2 people desperately trawling the internet all day while looking for something slightly negative about boxxer to keep bumping this thread in a obsessive attempt to prove an individual point which has largely fallen on deaf ears......and they do all of this while the rest of work our jobs, spend time with our family/friends etc.......some life they have!)

Good end to the year for Boxxer if this is the plan. Hopefully the undercards have some good fights too. I think Boxxer owe a fight to Masternak as well because they paid him to step-aside so Riakporhe could become mandatory for Jai Opetaia, and we all know what happened after that. I believe the plan Shalom wanted was to make Billam Smith vs Masternak and Okolie to move up to heavyweight, but Okolie wants to exercise the rematch clause. I dread to think how much money Boxxer will lose on the rematch.

Wouldn’t let it bother you mate although if you want to know what it’s like to lose big money on a fight then you should tweet your mate Hearn to ask him what happened when Lomachenko fought Campbell.

Fight broke even. For the record Okolie is being paid well above what Loma got for that fight and it’s a **** sandwich to sell.

plus boxxers cash injection they had last year is dwindling fast. Up against it big time. Hearn knows he has 18/24 months to keep the pressure on boxxer and it’s a possibility Sky come out of non PPV boxing or lower budgets dramatically

Mate there's a video of Hearn admitting he lost a lot of money on that fight, saying he looked at it from a boxing fan's point of view rather than a business point of view and that it hit nowhere near the numbers he needed it to.

I agree with you regarding Boxxer not having much time left though. They're going to have to gamble with Azim and Ben Whittaker in the next 18 months or so.

Could it be that Eddie told a fib to look like a boxing fan man of the people, when in truth he covered his backside as he always should? Or does he just say different things on different days and hope nobody notices?

Maybe mate but it was just a generic Q&A with someone like Sport Bible who asked his biggest regret/mistake.

Really? Hearn said it lost money in an IFL interview

    So who's correct?

Regardless, was great to see him over here so credit to MR for that

Agreed. I was there and had great seats for it and it was brilliant to watch Lomachenko in the flesh.

It’s weird watching him in real time, you think he’s about to get hit and then he just pops up from a totally different angle and you think how did he do that. Amazing to watch. Campbell put on a great performance too despite Loma winning pretty comprehensively.

Great crowd in there too. Was full of proper boxing fans just there to witness a great fighter rather than the usual football crowd you get at Fury/Joshua fights.

Think about it. It did circa 200k buys with 12k plus paid attendance. It washed its face
