I'm a have to go with one time Kieth Thurman. Dude is real funny. He says" when I fought Pacquiao it was like he was hitting me with little cinder blocks" "then I looked and noticed in a picture of us; he was wearing cleto Reyes gloves!" "I'm like- now it makes sense!!!"

Story telling at its finest, your boy would definitely know what gloves Pacquiao was wearing the night of the fight= embellishment at its finest!

    Hilarious

Tyson became cringe worthy with his pathological lying at times.

Hats off to him as a true fighter though and I have him ranked way higher then Bert Sugar btw.

Just curious, was it the old Mike who was a pathological liar, or the new "I don't know how to lie anymore" Mike Tyson? I guess give some examples bob box

I guess Hopkins too, I can't remember which fight but he got hit with a rabbit punch "it felt like I fell many stories from an elevator that crashed into the ground with me in it!"

I would say Tyson in the bathroom with Steve-O snortin and smokin 2 8balls was probbaly when I heard the most lying.

Heres a full circle though...when Steve -O admitted himself into a rehab, his first time in group he reunited with Tyson who had already been there for a week.

I done wrestled with an alligator, I done tussled with a whale; handcuffed lightning, thrown thunder in jail; only last week, I murdered a rock, injured a stone, hospitalised a brick; I'm so mean I make medicine sick.

I'm so fast that last night I turned off the light switch in my hotel room and was in bed before the room was dark. - Muhammad Ali.

One of my all time favourites but damn I wish Larry Holmes would leave the Foreman Frazier ducked him **** alone. Hopkins whole career is a re-invention of the trutheration as Mr King would put it.

Larry Holmes’ story about how Tyson didn’t hit hard and he was taking over the fight in the fourth round.

Though underscored by good intentions, Old Foreman might be the King of self deprecation, embellishments and overly flattering statements in reference to certain others. It’s like, damn George, just give it to us straight!

Gene Tunney stating Hary Greb asked him to let him stay and not knock him out in their last fight,we only have Tunney's word for this and he never said it until Greb was dead. The referee George Barton said he never heard Greb say it,and Greb expert Klompton doubts it . Mickey Walker saying he and Harry Greb had an after hours street fight ,it never happened.

More likely Greb's corner asked Tunney's corner to let him go the distance. As did Barney Ross' corner told Mead, Henry Armstrong manager to hold back and let him go the distance, from the 10th rd. on.
