I always wondered how Floyd did it even though it was glaringly obvious. How he managed to make so much money despite being a boring midget...I understand now. Look how many Fury threads there are and not one of them is from me (partly because I'm not allowed)

Having people hate on you is a stronger positive financial influence than love.

Fury will make a billion dollars if he stays on this course. The casuals are engaged and that's what really brings the money.

He could have been a sucker and done it the way all the haters want and he would have ended this year making half of what he will and then next year he would have made nothing...

and yes I know what you're all thinking Money is the root of all evil and is not the be all end all, so why is he chasing it? I'll tell you why, Tyson Fury has become cursed after fighting Deontay Wilder. When you beat the devil himself a piece of the devil comes with you. The only way Fury can rid this curse is to lose a boxing match and he will lose...in his 40's...or he'll take it to an early grave. On another note Fury freeing Wilder from the devil has made Big D more powerful than the gods of war could ever have imagined. Deontay Wilder is not beatable in his current form.

 

People want to see annoying obnoxious people ko'd. Not that weird. Ali made a career out of that. Thats why it was beautifull to see Khabib smash Mcgregor in mma.
Or Maidana beat up Broner or Hamed getting slanmed into a ringpole by Barrera.

As far as I know no boxer had to deal with as much hate as Jack Johnson did. Fury doesn't have to worry about his supporters getting lynched if he wins. Johnson did.

 

Fury is a great person and an honourable character

He could have easily said he hopes Bellew never goes home to his kids again or said Carl Froch's nose surgery went wrong...but no he just told them to lick his nuts, which by my standards would be a great honour.

So, based on his history, what should we expect next? Cancelled fight? Failed drug test? Another year or two of inactivity? Then another reboot? Another book? Another TV show? Another glorious return?

Certainly wouldn't be a shock.

I always expected him to fall off the wagon again, quit boxing again, come back again, win big again, fall off, come back again ... rinse and repeat ... until he's well into his 40s.

Nah not even close. Yeah what he's doing is shameful but there have been boxers that assaulted women, a few who murdered people including women, was even one who was a pedo and abused his own daughters.

 

No, far from it, he's just chasing money fights. He isn't going to be the first or the last fighter who goes after easy fights for big paydays.

Fury is now at the end of his career , most probably past his prime and makes now some cash .
