Knock down drag em out slugfests.

I give you Cornelius Boza Edwards vs Rafael "Bazooka" Limon, for the WBC Super Featherweight Title. A long time ago.

Bobby Chacon-Bazooka Limon 4 is my favorite fight of all time. It was a great 15 rounder.

Holyfield vs Qawi. I definitely didn't have it as close as other people had it, but it was a 15 round battle with high action in virtually every round. Great stuff

Weaver vs Tate, not a killer slugfest but a pretty convincing victory... and then?

Danny Lopez v Mike Ayala is another epic that went into the 15th and final round.

Unfortunately it’s not on YouTube in full any more but Johnny Bratton v Charley Fusari is another tremendous fight that went the full 15.

One more from me - Harada-Jofre 1 is an all-time classic. The rematch is very good too, but not as good as the first fight.

A few more I’ve thought of that haven’t been mentioned that either went the full 15 or ended in the 15th round:
    • Sugar Ramos v Floyd Robertson
    • Vicente Saldivar v Howard Winstone 2
    • Oscar Alvarado v Koichi Wajima 1
    • Victor Gailndez v Richie Kates 1
    • Carlos Palomino v Armando Muniz 1
    • Matthew Saad Muhammad v John Conteh 1
    • Sean O’Grady v Hilmer Kenty
    • Livingstone Bramble v Ray Mancini 2
    • Steve Cruz v Barry McGuigan

More of a battle of styles, skill and a chess match, but I’ll add Ray Leonard-Wilfred Benitez to the discussion. Just a gorgeous display of boxing ability.

Victor Emilio Galindez had a few: two with Yaqui Lopez and one with Eddie (Gregory) Mustafa Muhammad in particular.

Oh, and Vito Antuofermo vs. Marvin Hagler I is a really interesting and entertaining scrap that might surprise you if you see it now with fresh eyes, or haven’t seen it before. Forget what you’ve heard and score it for yourself.

For me, Holyfield vs Qawi I and Holmes vs Norton are among 5 best fights I've ever seen. Two amazing wars between highly skilled opponents.

I was there live for Holy-Qawi I and it’s definitely the best fight I’ve ever seen in person.

I was in college and my Pop called me like on Monday or Tuesday and said ‘let’s go to Atlanta and see Holyfield fight for the title.’ Didn’t take me long to say yes. He arranged plane tickets and a hotel room and fight tix. We went over the night before and left the morning after. Great trip and what a fight.
