That was a beautiful hook, great transfer of energy, follow through, and all 290lbs behind it. To have a chance against Zhang, you need good feet, defense, and have to get it to the 2nd half of the fight to make his age and stamina come into play. He was so comfortable in this fight it was ridiculous.

It was like the Froch Groves I knockdown, only far more brutal and conclusive. He was knocked out cold, face first, fast asleep, woke up, and got back on his feet, in like 8 seconds.

I can see Zhang beating AJ. AJ would be terrified after one punch lands.

Joyce looked kind of cute the way he was lying on the canvas NGL.

    I don't disagree with what you're saying, but I also don't think it's practical.

They ain't putting AJ anywhere near Zhang without a belt on the line.

I hate this, but you're correct. Most fighters who arent name fighters became name fighters by taking a small cut against a name fighter. No big draw fighter gets in the ring with an unknown unless hes getting the lions share of the purse. Unless you are Pacquiao and just have balls of steel like he did with Marquez.

Steve Bunce just said that the Dubois that Joyce beat was as good as Zhang is now. Idiot.

Big Bang is just the superior fighter but Big Joe should not have come in that heavy. Ideally he should have been about 265lbs.

From Joe's body language when getting up I get the feeling he thought the same.

Zhang could fight again next week. If Ngannou pulls a muscle get him in vs fatboy Fury.

It did fold him like a deckchair, mate, but Joe took too many punches prior to the Haymaker anyway. Too easy to hit, even though Joe had his guard up for the Zhang left this time around.

I can't help thinking it's the end of the road now for Joe as regards him actually progressing in his career.

There was a lot missing tonight, for me, with Joe, his opponent aside here. Joe didn't look good in anyway tonight. A far cry from
everything he did in the Parker fight....

I'm not sure where Joe goes from here...
