Joe Joyce vs Frank Bruno

I'd still pick Joyce from the Parker fight.

 

Bruno solidly outpoints Joyce but endures some rocky moments near the end.

 

Joyce’s chin makes the difference

 

It could go either way. Both men hit very hard and both could be stopped. On one hand Joyce’s lack of head movement would make an easy target for Bruno’s left jab and right cross. But on the other, Joyce had the physical tools and power to make Frank Fold.

NOTE: I will say however that Frank Bruno gave some very tough fights to proven world class fighters.

 

Bruno by knockout. Joyce is slower than molasses and too predictable.

I gotta say, brits, I love you people, but sometimes your boxing media or managers hype fighters in a way that wow, Joe Joyce, sure I only watched him 3, maybe 4 times, but my ****ing god he looks bad, he looked so ****ing slow there, the chinese guy is big and looks actually good but he Joyce had no business being in such a big fight like that...
I don't know, maybe it's just me.... he is tough I give him that much.

Frank gets him gone by the sixth.

 

Dubois went 11 rounds with Joyce and he's a very poor mans Bruno with less heart

Joyce never fought any top punchers until Zhang cleaned his clock, Bruno is the better boxer and has the power to keep Joyce honest.

My pick is Bruno.

 

I still pick Joyce regardless of his performances against Zhang, I'm not discounting Joyce's qualities because Zhang is really too good and Bruno would be too small and light for Joyce, Joyce stops him in late rounds...

 

Bruno was 238 pounds at Lewis he would be just fine vs Joyce and has the better boxing skills and is the bigger puncher.

 

Bruno is the crisper puncher and better boxer. Still Joyce is huge and very durable. JJ may wear him out late.

 

Depends on Joyce being able to take Franks Bombs and wear him down when he inevitably fades. Hard to call, Joyce didnt take that many shots from BIG punchers. If he goes on to get knocked out again you could still claim he was ruined by Zang.
Bruno was a murderous puncher. I believe he could do the same to Joyce, then again maybe not.
Bruno definitely outboxes him in the first half though.
