Stoppage was fine. Resendiz took several shots in a row on the ropes after getting caught, and didn't make any attempt to defend the clean power shot that snapped back his head and had him lurching sideways. Then another shot got home just as Weeks was stepping in. If Resendiz wanted to continue, he needed to defend himself better and fight back sooner.
