TIME TO VOTE: Who Should be Inducted to the Classic Hall of Legends This Year:140-HW [Vote Extended]

Alright, alright, alright - get your vote in for the TWO fighters we are going to nominate for the Classic Hall of Legends induction 2023, 140lbs to HW.

The nominations this year were decided by YOU, the Classic Forum posters last year when we had our original round of nominations for the original intake. These are the guys who had the most votes but didn't get in for whatever reason, tragically. They are:

Ted Kid Lewis
Jake LaMotta
Freddie Steele
Mike Gibbons
Harold Johnson
John Henry Lewis
Sonny Liston
Jack Dempsey
Antonio Cervantes

So the question you are answering is which TWO of the above fighters most enjoy immortalisation in the BN24 Classic Hall of Legends. It's a huge responsibility.

List no more than two fighters in your nominating post, although you may list just one. Feel free to say a bit about why, but you don't have to. Make it clear that you are nominating when you make your nominating post.

The poll will close on the 10th of October! **Note** due to tied fighters, the poll is extended to the 11th.

One other thing: if you feel there is someone who became legible in 2000 by retiring before the end of that year, shout. That's for any weight class.

Note: There are three middleweights here because of the paucity of nominees from the "In Between" in take, that is someone not of the traditional 8. Only Cervantes received more than 1 vote and didn't get in in the 140-Unlimited range. So I took the next man down with the most votes from the overall intake, and that was an extra middle.
