While it does have some intrigue for me, the size jump is too much. Give Crawford a fight @ 154, a fight @ 160 then a fight @ 168 1st and if he looked great than i'd be excited. Probably take too long to make and Crawford is getting older
I would be intrigued and I would give Bud all the respect in the world for taking the fight. But I’d be pretty skeptical about the size gap.
No, they're 3 weight classes apart. If they were both in the same weight class, I think Crawford beats him.
Yes, why not. Canelo looked smaller than Charlo. Truthfully, that was not the same Canelo. If Bud sees something, he would really want it, he has nothing to lose, plus would be the biggest pay yet, perhaps would be the biggest for him ever. If Bud is indeed a great, then he could prove it. Canelo himself fought at the higher weights since leaving 147. Besides, Bud is a big man himself to begin with, he was surprisingly even bigger than Spence.
After Crawford bullies the kittens at 160 or Tzyoo or some guys that everybody is looking for to be the next great thing at MW. Then he moves up to full 168 to fight the less than ATG Canelo. If the whiny-phony-victim Crawford looks strong at full MW? Yes. I could get excited about whiny gangsta ***** that is the reincarnation of Marvelous vs overrated bowling ball Mexican hero that is richer than God
If it was a single division jump for Crawford, definitely. But like Charlo, Crawford doesn't have the power to trouble Canelo.
Canelo said Crawford wasnt part of the plan which to me says Haymon and Canelo alrdy have the opponents lined up. Jermall fights in a few weeks and expect a Charlo redemption match. Praying, instead, we get Andrade/Benavidez winner but its Al Haymon so itll be something stupid again
No, its a mismatch Canelo needs to fight other guys in his weight class like Benavidez, Morrel not entertain mismatches like this from a guy looking for the big payday near the end of his career
I've wanted to see Crawford's boring ass be ragdolled for quite some time now. So to the sadistic side of me... sure, bring it on. But do I think it'll be a competitive or important match between P4P stars? Absolutely ****ing not. It wouldn't be all that dissimilar from Usyk battering Canelo senseless.
