Gassiev was apparently going to win and shut everyone who rated Wallin up a few days ago according to Drama Show

 

And bump 27 threads from years gone by which he can't do now.

 

There are two factors which have (as it stands) retired @Mitch87 from posting on the forum.

1. Results have consistently gone against him/Hearn/AJ/Matchroom. It's become depressing for him and impossible to spin, pretty much every CV-relevant HW/CW fight in the last 18 months: Fury-Whyte vs Joshua-Whyte, Wilder-Helenius vs Joshua-Helenius, Ruiz-Ortiz vs Wilder-Ortiz 1 and 2, Joyce-Parker vs Joshua-Parker, Usyk-Briedis vs Opetaia-Briedis, Chisora-Pulev 2, Usyk-Joshua 2 and now Wallin-Gassiev.

2. I’ve methodically gone through his posts back to 2018 and point out the contradictions whenever he talks nonsense.

If Fury beats Usyk and especially if Wilder beats Joshua on top of that, Mitch will be forced to concede (if he ever resurfaces) that Fury is at minimum a top 5 ATG, based on prior posts about Joshua's supposed top 10/15 ATG status and how Usyk is better than Fury and K2.

 

He just uses his other account now which is dramashow haha.

Another reason why @Mitch87 doesn't post anymore is because he doesn't like responding to me but he also doesn't like not answering me. Because whenever he answers a question, he provides the proverbial rope.

I keep asking him: "What will your top 10 look like if Wilder beats Joshua?" and he has yet to give me an answer. Partly because the idea of Wilder leaving AJ convulsing on the canvas causes him immense anxiety.

Another question I have for him: how many opponents did Lewis beat who were better than Usyk? He already established that Usyk is better than Vitali so I'm wondering whether the near-John Ruiz Holyfield or the near-Danny Williams Tyson are better in his view. If they're not and if Fury beats Usyk, then in his own terms Fury will have a win that's higher quality than any of Lewis's. Two if Fury wins the rematch? And he rates Wlad above Vitali as well, so maybe three. Clarification needed.

Another question I have is since he said Whyte and Gassiev were 1st tier fighters while Wallin was apparently 3rd tier, is Wallin now an elite fighter given that Whyte blatantly ducked him 10 days out from their London fight and Gassiev lost to him, or were Whyte and Gassiev (who Mitch regarded as the 2nd best cruiser in Usyk's GOAT cruiser era) actually 4th rate fighters all along? He said he'd favour Gassiev against Fury and Wilder. Is Wallin now a "great win" for Fury? Given he's said Whyte was a "great win".

He won't answer any of these questions and I don't blame him.

 

Don't forget he also said AJ would knock out Wilder with a jab.

 

That's a good one to add to the Mitch dossier if the fight happens. I think he also predicted that AJ would KO Fury in the 1st round: Liston-Patterson 3 in effect.

My personal favourite was his prediction that Babic would annihilate Wilder:

I miss Mitchy boy. His mental gymnastics and ability to turn any post into a swipe at Wilder and Fury was impressive.

Babic had a 3 month, 3 fight prime (Shawndell Winters to Tom Little). I've never seen anything like it. A small cruiser having frequent gym wars with Whyte and Joyce, shot to smithereens in no time. Too much heart for his own good. It's also what would happen to similar size and style heavies from the past like Frazier. Three fights with PED-enhanced behemoths Chisora, Whyte and Arreola and he'd be done.

 

Mitch is awesome

He still posts just not as often

He was blatantly fishing with a few of his comments and fair play they worked on occasion

His CV analogys were amazing too

 

Yeah he posts still under dramashow, but yes, I don't know how an account can write the same stupid triangle theories over and over again for 5 years straight.

They also had to have faced AJ to have been considered any good, or fight under the Matchroom banner, otherwise they weren't considered worthy of being a good HW.
