There's zero jeopardy here, just mindnumblingly dull stuff. Boxing is meant to be a spectacle, this is anything but.

This is a more painful watch than Harper and her missus scissoring.

 

This fight is like watching Ngannou's training video in slow motion.

 

I think it’ll do more than 1 million PPV buys. It’s huge business for DAZN to be honest. KSI vs Fury is big but Paul vs Danis has received a lot of attention. Pretty much all the big MisFits guys are on the card, it’s pretty huge.

I reckon once KSI loses we’ll see KSI vs Jake Paul next.

I'm usually equal to the challenge of staying awake through the women's fight before the main event. This one is particularly tough though.

As always this is where the commentator's really earn their money. I couldn't even feign interest for one round.

 

The Price/Coghill fight would have been a far better lead up to the main event. I know that's in hindsight but that or the Conway/Udofia fight would have kept the mood up.

The constant crowbar of below par women's fights before a main event suck all atmosphere and flow out of the whole event.

 

Since the first KSI fight it's clearly been huge and you can't blame a broadcaster for making a few bob off it.

However the argument is often made that these celeb fights turn people onto 'proper' boxing, but there's zero evidence of that happening. If anything it's like two separate sports.

 

I honestly don't understand why they do it when it's 100% guaranteed to be a complete turkey.

 

No wonder they have to keep putting Wood and Warrington on the big screen to wake things up. Like a morgue otherwise.
