yeah. he does that so the ref wont think he's hurt and cant defend himself and stop the fight. he does that in all his fights. it frustrates his opponents when they throw about 10-12 shots and none of them land.

 

Margarito would outwork him and win a UD. Winky will get hit on the arms and everywhere else and he won't move around the ring like Cotto did. He's past his prime, has no power to deter Margarito and will just be outworked.

A way past it Quartey gave him Hell...

I mean damn, Soliman almost beat based on sheer volume, but with no pop to follow. People overrate Winky way too damn much based on his wins over Trinidad and SSM (both of whom fight nothing like Margarito) as they lack the sheer intensity, stamina and relentless pressure of Margarito.

 

Horrible analysis. You fail to mention Winky's southpaw stance excellent guard and jab. A fighter like Clottey with a high guard gave Margo hell before hurting his hands and he doesn't have the jab or power that Winky does. Winky controls Margo with his jab alone not to mention Winky is bigger and stronger than Margo as well with underrated toughness. Margo will have no answer for Winky's jab or his defense he will be picked apart by Winky who can up his workrate when needed check the Taylor fight.

 

Margarito can't beat guys his own size.
