I think they are looking for someone to bid on it.

They have all gotten used to that Saudi money.

Then watch how Top Rank and the WBC do a sudden U-turn on their stance against Russian athletes.

Beterbiev would pretty much pulverize Canelo. AB has faced bigger punchers and slicker movers and (in the case of Gvozdyk) combined better punchers and movers and beaten them to a pulp. Canelo's best tactic is to wait 2-3 years until Beterbiev gets liver spots and a limp.

Stylistically Beterbiev will crowd Canelo and simply throw too many of his short triphammer shots to avoid effectively. Beterbiev has a great punch selection and often mixes up his hooks with body shots and uppercuts. I don't think that Canelo will hit hard enough to command any respect from Beterbiev who looks to me could easily fight at cruiser. I've also noticed that if an opponent is quite mobile Beterbiev sneakily steps on their foot for just an instant so that he can ring their bell upstairs before they move away.

Beterbiev became lineal after beating Gvozdyk (who Bivol has a walkover loss to in ammys) and has unified twice. Canelo chose Bivol for his chance @ a LHW belt for a reason he viewed him as the easier challenge.

The better question is why does Bivol pretend he wants that fight for many years now when he obviously doesnt and would rather sit on the vacant belt he waited for while allegedly beating his wife instead?

The peoples champ Beterbiev vs Canelo would be a more appealing match up than any other options including Benavidez, this we know.

Hes already beaten the other 2 at LHW. So, maybe its Bivol who is the hold up

Bivol and Beterbiev have had SIX years to work something out.

I'm sure both parties share the blame.

Let's pretend that Mauricio Sulaiman hasn't banned Russian fighters from competing for any WBC titles......

Yarde was ahead in points against Beterbiev until knock out.

I think Canelo outboxes Beterbiev and wins by unanimous decision.

Perhaps 2 undeserving mandos imposed on Beterbiev hasn’t helped.
Yarde had done nothing to get his shot, while Smith’ s money grab, non effort against Alvarez was a disgrace!

No, or not to the extent that Bivol did.
However, here we could see how Canelo was knocked out.

More money to be made @ 175 and he has no trouble making weight.
I think Beterbiev has more than enough power to move up and do well
