Benn fails drug test

Ben Shalom and Sky tried to make the fight but Benn has a long-term contract with DAZN so it couldn't happen. I think Hearn's plan is to make Eubank vs Benn on December 23 in the UAE (as Fury vs Usyk definitely won't happen on that date). Then he'll make the rematch next year in the summer at Wembley. He'll be hoping that the first fight has some controversy to make the rematch sellable.

DAZN will have a lot more subscribers after KSI vs Tommy Fury this weekend. I wonder if KSI vs Jake Paul eventually happens too. It seems like Jake Paul has a good relationship with DAZN putting on his own shows full of professional fighters on the platform.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. He signed a new deal with Matchroom after beating Granados so it wouldn't be possible for him to fight Eubank Jr on a Boxxer show which Shalom wanted.

You’re literally taking Hearn’s word for that and he’s hardly a beacon of truth

 

Putting drug cheat Benn in the ring when he’s failed to prove his innocence is quite controversial

 

The cohort of cartoon boxing fans have already subscribed to DAZN UK and many won't touch DAZN UK with a bargepole after a previous poking backed up by awful customer service.

The customer feedback is the worst I have seen.

@DramaShow when you say Benn v Eubank at Wembley, you mean the arena right?

Never seen the lad hayers posting on here but the lad Mitch appears now and again with some beef about Wilder.

 

I love that whole ‘our boxer is contracted to so and so network so couldn’t possibly fight on another platform’ nonsense, when we know full well that if their team loses a purse bid or accepts an offer from a competitor they can and will (in the rules for a purse bid ffs) box where they have to.

 

The casuals won’t care about bad customer service when they are coked up and have been brain washed that this fight will be better and has more importance than Benn v Eubank 1 did in 1990. Crappy DAZN will probably get loads more subscribers for this farce of a fight which shouldn’t be happening.

 

Chris Eubank Jr has also stated that he refuses to box against Conor Benn until he is cleared and ready to box here in the U.K.

It could be that the purse is so huge that Eubank Jr. will forget all about it...?

 

Funny, I remember Hearn assuring us how he was going to be different and do things differently to all the rest. Who would have thought he was lying and has lied ever since?
