I’m glad he’s retired. There’s simply no point in taking a beating for just a few more bucks, not when you’re already well off and had a decent career to look back on. Unlike a lot of other guys who keep fighting when they should be retiring, GGG is making the right call.
He should retire. Bested Canelo at least once (twice in my opinion). Only loss on his record coming from the third fight which was an obvious payday. No one has deserved a Canelo payday though more than GGG
Good on him. Don't recall a fight I saw him in that I didn't enjoy. Massive respect for this dude who always came to fight rather than dance. I never detected ambiguity in his game. Hope he becomes whatever it is he wants to become in his next career.
