As long as Vitali doesn't injure himself, I think he should be able to handle Peter. Peter will be easy to hit, especially with Vitali's huge reach advantage. This will put Vitali ahead on points after the first few rounds. Peter will start to get through in the mid rounds, but it will cost him. Eventually Vitali will wear Peter down and score a KO, or if Peter survives, Vitali gets a UD.
The fight will be very exciting, it will be just what the Heavyweight division needs to get peoples attention again. Peter will win by 6 or 7th round KO, it will be a war.
What is a Peter Vitali thread without good our beloved Punisher's input? Not very entertaining. But this fight, on the other hand, will be very entertaining. It'll mainly be a test of how much Peter can take before either falling, or the ref waving it off, or his corner throwing in a handful of towels. LOL Vitali Klitschko is a 6 foot 8 inch, strong as hell, atheltic, iron chinned fighter who is not afraid to exchange. Fast reflexes who has an amazingly fast counterpunch............He has a unique lean back defense style that is very hard to deal with, espcially for shorter fighters............Never been behind on the cards, never been knocked down, ever, and has an amazingly powerful overhand right. Not to mention that he is one tough SOB. That equals a recipe for disaster for one Sammy Peter, come October. This content is protected
This same topic seems to get discussed every couple days, I have already gave my in depth prediction weeks ago, and I'm prepared to do it again a day before the fight. Heavyrighthand, I cant wait to have an avatar bet with you, you will be sporting a beautiful hand picked avatar of Sam Peter, chosen by yours truly.:yep
Peter win? How much of your hard earned cash would you back that up with? This is a pay day for Peter, unless he proves me wrong. On the other hand VK could back out last minute. Then Golota steps in.
Come on Loufatski, do you really think King would let Peter get in the ring with Vitali if he didnt think he could beat him? I think alot of people on here will be pretty surprised when they see how much of a fight this one is going to be, and Peter will get the KO/TKO victory. Vitali has never fought an oppenent with the combination of power, killer insincts, and chin, like Sam Peter.
Shitty situation for Peter. If he wins, it will be because Vitali was old, rusty, and shot. If he loses, it will be because he is overrated and can't knock out anyone not named Oleg. Peter can't see anything that doesn't come straight at him and if Vitali is at least 80%, I think he hits Peter often with uppercuts and hooks. Either way, should be an exciting fight.
Never mind King, how much of your cash would you lay down to back up Peter? Tell us how much? Right now King's only chance against Vitaly caliber is Peter. If Peter fails he's got Golota.
This is only a war if Vitali isn't as good as we last saw him. His height, reach, and talent practically insists on this being one-sided, but if it isn't, then Vitali is done. If he can't use those to his advantage then what good will he be?
Thats hope Golota is in the right mental state to challenge a fighter like Vitali, unless he turns back the clock to 1996 again, I cant see anyway of Golota beating Vitali, though I would love to see it. I would lay 100-200 on Peter, but I first I want to see what weight he comes in at. If he's over 250, I would lay 100 down on Peter, if he comes in at around 245, I would throw 200 on the table.
That is what they told Cassius, and Holmes, and Evan, and pretty much every elite heavy not named Rocky and Lennox.
