Tszyu is being overrated, he has massive holes in his game, will he ever crack the P4P top 10?

He's overrated big time. I know I sound like a hater but I'm really not. I got nothing against him. He's a discount GGG, a heavily discounted one. Just a basic straight up fighter that follows his opponents around.

I would not call him a C level fighter though, not even B-. He's at least B level fighter, maybe even B+.

He is "overrated" and "has massive holes in his game" but the question is "will he ever crack the P4P top 10?" Herein lies the problem with this sport and the social medias. Do better, dude.

    I don't know what's more ridiculous

People comparing him to his old man, asking who's better out of them

    Or

Floyd fans still crying big baba tears about King Kostya 18 + years after he hung up his gloves

Imho he's at least a B+ fighter. A- I would say. And he has margin for improvement, since 28 yo is not old.

People are being too harsh on him because of how many rounds he lost last weekend, but the truth is that he lost those rounds out of inactivity. They were the result of a mistake in the strategy, not a problem in the technique or the skills. Whenever Tim raised up to the fight he put a freaking beating on Mendoza, I watched Tim losing rounds, but not because he was the worst fighter in the ring, that was not the reason at all.

So in my book he still has credit. I would like to watch him vs charlo, it would answer a lot of questions.

He's clearly not P4P material, nowhere near as good as his father but he is probably the best at 154 at the moment, though that is not saying much if Charlo can be undisputed at that weight.

He's good enough to beat Charlo but Crawford would school him.

Why GGG? He fights nothing like GGG who works behind a very active jab. He's far more similar to Davis than GGG.

Floyd vs kostya at light welter is one of my biggest dream fights and it's a shame it never happened

Besides the jab he's kind of similar.

Yes it is. But don't dare say Kostya could've beat him unless you want to be engulfed in a biblical tsunami of baba tears from Floyd's fans

Sounds to me like hes making headway.. when threads like this start appearing you know he's rattling cages... just like triple G did when he first came up.. a future p4p talent in a few more fights ;)

Jermell cracked the p4p top 10. Charlo will be lucky to go 12 rds with Tszyu. If he can get him in the ring, he’ll crack the top 10.

He’s not p4p material. Stop comparing him to Triple G. He can beat Charlo. He’s slightly above David Lemieux in quality. Big puncher, confident. But can be outboxed and I believe hurt with his hittable defense. Let him beat Charlo and get his cash out vs Crawford imo

I believe Tim is being underrated by casuals who haven't a clue as to how much more difficult it is to apply pressure while being defensively responsible compared with moving backward to avoid taking punishment. As this video shows, Tszyu's defense is above average as is his boxing IQ.

You don't have to make a p4p list to be considered better than a C level fighter ffs. Who cares anyways, the guy is a crowd pleasing, tough as nails fighter with power, what's not to like.
