Olympics put boxing on hold

    Looks like boxing is off the table for the 2028 Olympics. No surprise, just another death knell for the most corrupt sport on Earth.

    Sounds like a good time for longtime amateurs to turn pro.

    Maybe we'll get a wave of new talent now that people aren't spending a decade or more in the amateur ranks.

    Olympic boxing is one tournament every four years with highly political qualification process.

    I think the "sport" will be just fine.

    They did this to wrestling but wrestling is fine. The politicization of the amateurs needs to be addressed and this isn't nothing, but I would hardly call it a death nail.

    Boxing is not even close to the most corrupt sport on earth. Not even close.

    **** the olympics. Amateur boxing is not pro-boxing. Still better than chicksboxing, though.
