I feel like from a viewing figures perspective this card should have gone last night.

It's up against a Rugby world cup semi final on terrestrial TV which obviously can't be foreseen but will impact it a lot. There's also Premier League football on and another boxing card. It would have had my undivided attention last night but definitely not tonight until the main event at best.

This is a good test for McGrails 8th fight. Mendoza is 17-0 but has largely fought poor opposition. McGrail gets caught towards the end of the round and knocked off balance. He has controlled the round but has been caught a few times in the opener.

Enjoyed this fight. Good learning test for McGrail. He showed a good chin and took some big shots from Mendoza. He has a very exciting style.

Hopefully the main event delivers as it has been an enjoyable card so far.
