He appears to be fit and healthy as per a recent IV. He’s definitely lost weight but that could be an achievement in its own right without actual conditioning necessarily being involved.

I wonder if Mike Tyson will employ the famous Cus D’Amata numerically coded punch combination sequences.

    Mikey T shouts “3, 6, 1, 5, 2” from the corner.

Then Francis proceeds to punch exactly as directed in as little as 30 seconds. A literal blur.

How will Fury avoid such offensives?

Maybe Fury underestimates Ngannou s punch like Francois Botha once underestimated the punch of Siala-Mou "Mighty Mo" Siliga.

Ngannou will be ****ed after 3 - 4 rounds if it goes that long, he'll be dangerous for those rounds though.

It's not like Ngannou is an NFL player or weight lifter, he's a stripped UFC heavyweight champion who's used to cracking skulls, he's a live dog.

I don't think Fury will be able to approach this contest the same way he did with the third Wilder fight. Ngannou, from a size and strength perspective will be the biggest opponent Fury has faced, going toe to toe will be dangerous for Fury, even clinching with Ngannou will be pretty risky for Fury as he'll be over powered and forced around.

have you seen the ifl video of Francis on the pads? He’s awful! I wouldn’t be surprised if fury wobbles him with a jab in the 1st round

It's not uncommon to play games during fight week to mess with the betting and to throw off public perception

Francis punches like an MMA fighter. You can see it in videos of him hitting pads in preparation for this fight. Lots of flowy looking shots, reaching out to defense, standing upright.

This **** just hardly ever translates to boxing. Clearly he can crack and in the cage he ices people…. But so did Conor, and he looked like he was slap boxing when he was in there with Floyd.

Tyson seems way too casual about all of it though, and is overly relaxed (for him). Some fighters thrive when they’re really relaxed ahead of a fight, Tysons best performances have been when he’s an arrogant buffoon ahead of his bouts. If there’s a chance for him to lose, that’s the reason…. But it moreso just makes me think both guys will probably be in there just having fun and not trying too hard to hurt each other…

I wouldn't do it. Ngannou is going to gas within 6 rounds. No way he's making past that.
