After you saw tonight. How do you think how would perform against Fury pressure skilled boxers like Zhang, Bakole, Makhmudov, Hrgovic, Ruiz, Joyce etc. I actually think that if their endurance is good after a proper camp.... they could expose Fury even more... maybe dismantle him. When I think about it.... well Fury fought almost with anybody. Prime Wlad would probably send Fury into dreamland.
Zhang with a bit of cardio destroys Fury. He's heavier than Ngannou and taller. Southpaw that fury struggled with, fast and strong counter puncher with almost no telegraph on the straight left. After tonight's fight I'd even say Joyce pre-Zhang could probably beat fury. Also a unit that can't be bullied on the inside, and it's now been demonstrated if you can eat fury's punches while being bigger and stronger than him he has nothing
I love watching the pendulum swing, especially after a partied out fat boy who does no training at 35 gets in the ring. Fury was a great talent but he retired in mind and body after Wilder 3. He wasn't exposed as anything less than we imagined but exposed as a retired pugilist who needs to hang it up.
Ruiz Jr is still too slow and too small. Joyce is too slow and mentally not in the right spot right now. I think Hrgovic is too slow too, but he eats Fury s best punches for breakfast. Fury could never hurt him Bakole is maybe still a bit too green, but he has a chance imo. Makhmudov and Zhang have the best chances. If i was Warren, i would avoid the fast Usyk and the strong, heavy southpaw Zhang at all costs.
I’ve said this before. Zhang has a good chance to knock Fury out. He’s bigger than Fury size wise and he packs dynamite in his hands. I’d love to see Zhang kick the crap out of Fury.
Zhang, 100%. Tonight we saw Fury struggle with a guy so big he can't be tied up and pushed around to buy time, fought in a southpaw stance for part of it and had a big enough pop to keep him humble. Zhang has all three of those things, and he's got faster hands that can come out of nowhere. I always thought Zhang had a good chance, but after tonight I'd back him with absolute certainty. Hell, I never even considered Zhang potentially winning on points as a possibility, but if a guy with big pop who can't be tired out can make Fury fight skittish, I can see it. So long as Zhang's gas tank holds up and he doesn't outright take too many rounds off.
There is a reason nobody fights guys like Hrgovic and Zhang, there is a reason they had to fight each other, also Makmudov and Bakole aswell are avoided and classified as B tier. Joyce is an exception, he belongs in the group of Fury and Wilder, hypejobs, business champion, that is all there is to it. Non-boxer exposed boxing.
This is what happens when top guys barely fight each other, as is the norm in boxing sadly. You never know how good someone really is. Fury was being viewed as some borderline unstoppable ATG off the back of beating...who? 39 year old Wlad almost a decade ago, limited Wilder, Shyte and Del Boy.
This. It's a bit weird that people are using last night to push the "he was never any good" narrative. He's a middle aged fat guy who made his professional debut nearly 15 years ago. The people who gave him stick for retiring after the Whyte fight are the same people giving him stick for being terrible now. He knew he was done.
Fury isn’t my boy, he got shown up by a debutant. Fury had the cheek to say he would beat Jon jones in a street fight, the so called fighting man wouldn’t last 10 seconds. Boxing is in the mud with all these overpaid divas ducking each over. YouTubers without any fighting experience are dropping professional boxers
