tbh i might never watch boxing again after this, ive never been more embarrassed to be a boxing fan. i cant take the sport seriously if a guy with a 0 - 0 record can just come in and beat the HW champ of the world .

I think people need to change their perception when it comes to combat sports, every now and then anomalous situations like this take place.

It's not like Ngannou is a volley ball player, he's an elite level stripped UFC heavyweight champion who's built like a brick **** house known for his striking ability. 270 pounds of sheer muscle, Fury couldn't put a dent in him, to be honest Fury couldn't do anything with Ngannou, his punches bounced off him and was over powered in the clinch. If Fury had kept his distance and used his jab he probably could have pot shot his way to to a boring lop sided UD.

What surprised me the most was Ngannou didn't seem to tire. I thought he'd be dangerous for the first 3 - 4 rounds, get exhausted and get heavily outpointed in the second half of the fight.

I don't think any of the Top 5 guys knock him out bar Zhang.

Well im glad the myth of Tyson Fury being this absolute slickster with skills for days has finally been undone. Wallin should have ended that, but when he cannot run through you he looks lost.

The more I watch the fight I do wonder, and of course Toney's Reviews did say something similar on Ultra Tech's recent video:

"It's because Fury was scared to commit. I truly believe Francis is the hardest puncher that [Fury] has ever fought and his counter punching was on point. Francis also controlled the outer foot control."

    What do you think?

When you think about the landscape of the heavyweight division it is really quite bad. Most heavyweights besides Usyk, Wilder and AJ are somewhat flabby and overweight. Ngannou is in fantastic shape he is built like a beast and clearly has serious punching power. Maybe that’s all it takes when the landscape is this poor.

Definitely. Ngannou had enough pop to humble him, and he made it clear early on that if Fury wanted to tie up and push him around, he'd do it right back and win that fight because he has the better experience doing it. As a result he fought a bit skittish, not terribly dissimilar to how we've seen AJ do lately.

He couldnt get in the clinch and dominate like the past 8 opponents, Francis was similar size and stronger so Fury **** the bed.

Fury needs to make it right, Ngannou deserves a shot at the belt.
