He proved how unprofessional and undisciplined he is as a fighter.

When he fought Klitschko, he was a slim 247 lbs. The fatty should be no more than 260 lbs if he was in shape. Before he started training, he was probably at around 325 lbs. He is one of the most undisciplined fighters in all of boxing, if not the most undisciplined and it shows.

And yes, his offense is overrated too. He is fairly basic in his arsenal. I saw an inconsistent jab, a slapping left hook, wild right hand and a wild uppercut. He doesn't have good fundamentals. Reminds me of Roy Jones, where once his speed and athleticism starts to decline, he can't put a consistent offense together.

Fury has gotten by on natural gifts and size. His fundamentals are lousy and he fights like a clumsy ogre.

No one but Brits and idiots would, no matter when he retired. He still has never fought anyone but old men and bums.

Ngannou couldn't be pushed around in the clinch because he's become a very competent wrestler in the past few years, and he's insanely strong.

Fury beat up Wilder in those last two fights by using his massive size advantage and Wilder's lack of an infighting game to push Wilder around and lean all over him to wear him out.

New member here tho lifelong boxing fan. Never miss a major heavyweight fight and yesterday was a shocker.

Not to take away from the tank-like Ngannou, but it raises questions of whether Fury was taking him lightly/ looking past him. And it became clear in the later rounds that Fury decided to use the jab and outpoint him, and not to take too many risks.

The ever-loquacious Eddie Hearn pronounced afterward that his guy AJ would put Ngannou away in 3.....

Fury's developed into a guy that uses his size to lean on, maul and clinch his opponents.

That was a good strategy against Wilder and other smaller fighters but it wasn't going to work against Francis N.

He is nolonger the guy who can stick and move for 12 rounds. That Fury was surprisingly agile for his size.

Watching Fury yesterday was like watching Ali in his later year. The agility, movement and quickness just weren't there.

How much of that was due to under training and how much due to general decline is unclear.

Does the guy have it in him at this point in his life to really dedicate himself to the sport?

The jury is out but I think not.

Muhhahahahahhaha Iron chin, based on what? Fury is featherfisted and he landed like 2 power shots the whole night, the rest was sloppy arm punches.

Ngannou chin will be tested, as he gain a lot of popularity overnight and he will prolly fight AJ next.

Based on the fact that he has never even been dropped in his MMA career. The dude took flush headkick to the dome and wasnt even wobbled, he is known to have an iron chin.

Fury hit him with a elbow to the face and he did not even flinch. That elbow and those same power punches that he took would have at least knocked down a lot of heavyweights.

Ngannou is 100% going to persue a career in boxing now with the money he can make there plus international crowd he can bring.
He will loose by Tko to a guy like whyte, anderson, Joyce or zhang and the entire MMA is better then Boxing narrative is going to die off.
Fury lost yesterday because he is a drug abusing low life. I always knew that this would come, and you could see the singns of that already in his fight with whyte

No it wouldn't as Fury is featherfisted bum. And i have says that for long, long time.
People need to stop with this b.c. iron chin, glass chin, etc, etc.

What will be next topic when he fights AJ next and AJ flatten him inside 3 rounds, that he is a glass jawed bum, right?

They landed shots on him. You need to actually watch the fights also, it was hardly embarrassing for boxing, how?

Are you dumb or something? I have seen Ngannou fight 10 times in MMA and he has took headkicks to the dome etc. And never even has been wobbled. He is the definition of iron chin. You asked based on what and I told you, as I actually know what I am talking about.

Everybody knows Fury is featherfisted, great insight Sherlock. That elbow would have knocked down most of the heavyweights, guess you did not even see that.
