As a simple matter of courtesy to your fellow forum members please don't confuse legitimate criticism of Benn and his team as crying, or assume that they share the same attitude as you do to matters of sporting ethics. I won't be tuning in because I regard the entire event and those pushing as being tainted by a corruption which threatens a sport I value. I won't be the only one and perhaps you might reflect on the reasons that people have made that decision before dismissing them in such a cursory way?[/QUOTE] X2
The public heard loud and clear over the past year that Benn is a Drugs Cheat, Hearn has provided PR to spin and cover up but the public hear loud and clear that he remains a Drugs Cheat who has not faced up to his multiple failed Drugs Tests. The PR damage done to Matchroom over this multiple drugs test failure Connor Henn will damage the brand for years to come.
This content is protected Benn seems to think the fight is done. Let's get it announced then. Benn seems confident that he will stop Eubank Jr and then pursue the top US names. I can only see Eubank winning via stoppage at 160 - it would be very difficult for a much smaller Benn to win that fight. I'm surprised we aren't hearing as much outrage about a potential fight at 160 as we did for the catchweight when the fight was first announced. Eubank Jr is much bigger than Benn - he has fought at 168 for part of his career!
Do we have minutes from the Matchroom Board of Control meeting at Mascalls Lane when Benn was cleared?
No one has time for outrage about the weight this time, already too outraged that this could go ahead without Benn clearing him name properly or admitting guilt
I don't know him but not really from what I have seen of him. I think Eubank Jr knocks him out and I always said that Josh Kelly would beat him.
Even Darren Barker is laughing at this little drugged up gimp reeling off a list of names like he's some kind of decorated boxer.
Benn would get brutally KOd by them. There's a reason why he has only fought old, faded feather-fisters. Remember when he beat Formella and he kept going on about how he did it in better fashion than Porter than a fight with Avanesyan. I can see some sort of controversy in the first Eubank vs Benn fight to sell a rematch regardless of the result - Hearn is a very clever man.
How can any so-called boxing fan want Benn in the ring? Admittedly we all want him to get ironed out but that can be done outside of a ring where he won’t be getting paid millions for the privilege.
I want him to brake his hand or something in training so he can't box. I don't want to see him earn a penny more from the sport.
