Earnie Shavers vs. Fury

Fury gets uo when knocked down and it would be no difference with shavers

Say what you want about Furys performance against Francis, but that was against a 270 plus pund man built like a brick wall

Fury is tough and he does have heart
He would out point shavers after a few scares

 

To be honest:

Sure is Fury now in a bad state, but Shavers is to me one of the most overrated fighters ever.

I mean cmon. Goran Ivanisevic is the 2001 Wimbledon Champion in Men s singles, but he is never the same category as the top guy s from his era, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg, Jim Courier etc..

Shavers had a killer punch, Goran had a killer service, but overall they had limits.

Shavers was KOed by Quarry in 1 round!

I mean the mexican Joey Orbillo (who was the only of the pro boxers from that day who knew Bruce Lee personally) went the full distance with Quarry, but Shavers didnt surivive the 1st round against Quarry.
This doesnt mean Orbillo would beat Shavers, but it underlines Shavers had his limits.

Some ppl always compare Shavers to Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Liston, Holmes etc., but he doesnt belong in their league.

The 2015 Tyson Luke Fury from the Wlad fight at 247lbs=112kg wins an easy UD. The Wilder 2 Fury at 273lbs=123kg could get KOed by Shavers, but most probably he would take it even if Shavers would drop him 1-2 times at best.

 

Shavers and rose tinted glasses were made for each other,the hate is strong for Fury at the moment,but Shavers ffs LOL .

 

A prime Fury beats him easy... but if your talking about Fury in his last fight then Shavers would wipe the floor with him and probably by KO.
