Córdina really comes across as a bit of a tit to me. I hope Wood fights him and sparks him out.

Lol. Hearn always answers questions about the scorecards…Warren refused to talk about them after McCann vs Baluta.

    Take your bias elsewhere.
4? Guzman vs Ali II was good I thought.

People on here were saying it was one of the worst undercards ever to a world title fight!

You need to be thick skinned on here and show some resilience.

2 of them certainly were. I couldn’t argue with 114-114

That poster appears to be a matchroom shill. Just ignore him

@DramaShow does provide very good and timely information on the breaking news in UK boxing.

People have different opinions and sometimes we all get things wrong.

Nothing against you @Wick. Just pointing out your misconception about Hearn not answering questions about dodgy scorecards. Don’t think my tone was overly harsh but apologies if you thought it was.

The bias bit? Astonishing lack of self awareness.

The term ‘need to rip the belt from the champion’ annoys me. Cordina kept saying it afterwards repeatedly. Winning more rounds than the champion should be enough to take the belt from the champion.

I’m not saying Vazquez won more rounds but having ‘you need to rip the belt from the champ’ as your default excuse after contentious scorecards is a load of rubbish.

It holds weight in the sense that if there's a draw, split draw or majority draw the champion keeps the belt. By that token the challenger does have to do more, which is ok considering the champion should have properly earned the belt when winning it.

I'm sure it goes further than that though. Close fights seem to, more often than not, go the champion's way. There's likely some bias in the judges' minds when scoring close rounds.

I don't agree with it, but if I was a lesser known challenger (against a Matchroom champion no less), I wouldn't want to be leaving a razor close fight to the scorecards. Probably would be more likely to take risks in the last few rounds than the champion, mainly because it's often not a fair sport.

The first 3/4 rounds have clearly been scribbled out and changed. I know mistakes can happen but none of Cordina’s were changed and I can count 10 changes to numbers on Vazquez’s card.

State of that lol. Reminds me of the fight earlier in the year where Warren was talking to the judges while they were totting up.

Not sure on the bout, might have been McCann Baluta?

Such a corrupt sport. Really wish something would be done to improve it but sadly money talks and therefore we'll keep seeing terrible scorecards.
