His best night on Sky was Joshua v Ruiz in New York - he played a blinder in the commentary for that fight.
Great to hear he has overcome his health issues regardless of what people think of his commentary. 'A fighting man' was one of his favourite punchlines and glad to see it has rubbed off on himself when he needed it.
The same type of people as those on here who claimed that Anthony Joshua failed a drugs test. Clowns spread rumours like that. Andy Smith is a much better commentator than Andy Clarke and even Mike Costello. He had a genuine passion for the sport.
I think ALN93 who isn't around these days pointed out that he was battling cancer a year or so back which he was proven right on so well played to him. Glad that he is doing ok.
Yes that's what I was told aswell I've always been a fan of Adam and thought all the stick about him being creepy ect was out of order
let’s not forget that the gossipy hens on here were pulling a gambling addiction from their arse some chumps will believe anything if it’s tweeted
As a person I like Smith, unlike the rest in boxing doesn't ***** about rivals or boxers on other networks, I also thought he had a great voice in boxing but wasn't a fan of the content quite often had a narrative, like missing shots from b fighter
I liked that he would talk a fight up even if it wasn't on Sky. He just genuinely loved boxing and had no bitterness about him
I always kinda liked him on Sky. He clearly absolutely loved boxing and that shone through even if I didn’t agree with all his commentary.
Always came across as a decent man and clearly loves the sport, great to hear he's got the all clear. I wouldn't say no to him going to DAZN. I might not always like the things he says but there's no denying he has a great voice and hypes up the fight. Costello is too monotone.
