He really should change his name to b/s enzo, as for the last year he has got too big for his boots.

Every chance he gets he mentions the trainer of the year award he got. If Elton John was training JC he would have got that award.

Then all the Haye b/s. I think he has lost it mentally.

Most Cruiserweights aren't as explosive as Haye and It was a flurry that took Enzo out.

    Shaky chin but not glass.

Haye's also the best Cruiserweight In the world until he moves upto Heavy.

Enzo Calzaghe is an old fool. He has made his name off his sons back and a stable full of fighters taking on bums.

Considering the slow-mo replays show the punch hitting Haye in the shoulder, I certainly hope that's not the straw he's clinging to. Haye just got off-balance...if he really believes he caught Haye on the chin and wobbled him then Haye hit him even harder than it looked.

Anyway, I think Enzo C has actually done a good job training Enzo M.
I take bigger issue with the fact that the usual over-cautious Warren matchmaking led to his development slowing down and almost stagnating.

He needed more opponents like Dominguez and Braithwaite, and less of the Bobby Gunns, Mohamed Azzaouis and Marco Heinchens of the world. As a result, when it came to step up to the top level, Macca was woefully unprepared.

Bobby Gunn was an awful awful opponent, interesting to see who he has in July, unfortunately the nearer it gets to fight night without an opponent - the worse the revelation is going to be!

You don't seem to be able to accept the fact that Enzo got a hiding.
If he'd never been taken on by Calzaghe, he'd have a good few more defeats and would definitely have never won a title. He's an average fighter who has been matched well, with a good trainer who knows how to work with his weaknesses.

I think Enzo C has brought the best out of Enzo M, and he can still go on to achieve something of note.
The fight with Haye should have been more competitive, but I don't believe Enzo Macc had enough self belief
I got this impression when he was on the Setanta sofa with Buncey for the Haye v Mormeck fight. When Haye won, Enzo looked like a deer caught in headlights. I think the idea of facing David Haye filled him with dread, and he never got over it.

    :rofl:good

Enzo gets his fighters in great shape, but thats pretty much it.

Listen to the crap advice he gives his fighters between rounds - its as if hes watching a different fight.

Possibly one of them, and not a ****ing hope. He won't even get to fight Haye again unless Enzo makes the insane decision to move up to heavyweight as well.

Of course. Enzo has turned him from an unremarkable brawler that was going nowhere fast to a top contender with reasonable skills.

Enzo has improved Enzo a hell of a lot. You would never have seen him outbox Braithwaite for example over 12 rounds before he want with Calzaghe.

I don't blame Enzo Calzaghe for the Haye fight, Enzo was like a rabbit in the headlights that night he really weren't himself and it seemed the occasion got to him. From the moment you saw him sprint towards the ring I could tell he was bricking it.

It's funny. People complain about Enzo being delusional and stupid but they are delusional and stupid in their assessment of him.

Enzo is a good trainer who has produced quality fighters. He's improved many fighters also. Enzo has developed a good stable.

    His work is irrefutable.

I honeslty think Enzo Maccarenelli should leave Enzo Calzaghe and seriously consider hooking up with

    Emanuel Steward

Just like Khan after his KO loss

Enzo needs to leave Newbridge and head to the United States

as a member of the Kronk Gym Emanuel Steward could get him quality sparring and guide him to the undisputed world crusierweight title

and KO Haye in rematch by tightening up his defence
