Would Dempsey Have Stopped Bonavena??

    So Oscar Bonavena, putting him in to Jack Dempsey s Shark infested waters.
    How's he do against the Mauler?
    15 rounds and 1920 s rules, gloves etc
    Could Jack stop Ringo?

    He’d have the potential to stop Bonavena yes. Not saying that he definitely would but it could happen.

    Would a very durable human being lose consciousness if it repeatedly got hit in the head by Jack Dempsey? Yes.

    I can agree with that assessment. Jack Dempsey certainly had the potential to stop anybody, and I am including ANY body. The best version of Dempsey should not be dismissed lightly.

    Yes, it's a possibility given Dempsey's punching power, output and Bonavena's relative lack of defense

    The best version of the killing machine that was Jack Dempsey? Yes. I would not rule them out in multiple tries.

    Bonavena withstands the initial onslaught, rather easily, turns up the heat and stops Jack in the 10th. I'd wager monies on it.
