No matter how many times I watch the fight I can seriously not give Haney anymore than 4 rounds being generous. I think because of the stakes and how big the fight was over the boxing landscape it has got to be the most egregious robbery of the year. It annoys me that Haney would not even give an immediate rematch not that that makes anything better anyway. Haney will go on with his career sweeping this under the rug all the while knowing full well that he was beaten by the older smaller Lomachenko and he wasn't just beaten he was seriously whopped. Loma has been robbed of legendary status and it sucks.

Yeah they were egregious as well. The only thing I can say is at least rematches were given but I guess even the rematches were not above board either.

Rematches are hard to win when you’re gutted from a robbery. Ward -Kovalev 1 case I. Point Kovalev didn’t show up in rematch like he did for first bout. All 3 fights were robberies. Boxing is a business and Eastern Euros don’t sell.

Loma robbed vs a two division heavier Salido in just his 2nd pro fight in the US

Who also missed weight by over 2lbs

Not only robbed by the judges but also by the most corrupt ref in the game

How can you legitimately win a fight where you were outlanded by 22 punches and over a third of your total punch connects were illegal low blows, lots of them so flagrantly low Ray Charles could've seen them from a mile away on a dark night?

How can you throw over 50 low blows, again, loads of them crazy low, and not receive a single point deduction?

    = corruption

Robbed blind against a four division heavier Haney who not only had home advantage

A home ref and three home judges which only happens in one country in the world for world title fights between a home fighter vs a foreigner and even worse is almost the norm over there - go check out the nationalities of the officials for both Haney vs Kambosos fights in Australia

100% Haney would never have traveled over there if they were Australian

But was also given at least a 36 hour weigh in - for a fight between the biggest weight bully in the sport and biggest 135 pounder I've ever seen vs the smallest 135 pounder in the sport

Then we have one of the three home judges scoring Loma vs GRJ a draw despite the fact Loma paddled GRJ's ass and dominated the fight with ease

And one of the three home judges scoring Loma vs the two division bigger Teofimo 119-109 for the later despite the fact that Loma clearly swept the vast majority of the rounds in the second half of the fight

And one of the three judges even gave Nakatanni 2 rounds against Loma despite the fact that it was a one-sided massacre and Loma beat him to a pulp and clearly won every round

    ''But Loma ducking Shakur doe''

Like he doesn't finally realize he won't get a fair shake and will need to win via KO to come away with a draw

In his third weight class alone, one he's tiny for, he's fought the way bigger ''Four Kings'' Teofimo and Haney in their country with a home ref and three home judges and would've fought one of the other ''Four Kings'' Twink long ago if Twink hadn't been ducking him like crazy for the last seven years even though Twink would've had home advantage, a home ref and three home judges and Loma would've needed a KO to come away with a draw

Meanwhile none of these other ''Kings'' are fighting each other despite the fact they're roughly the same size a each other or at least bigger than Loma, not 2, 3 or 4 divisions lighter, are all ether huge or big for their division or certainly not small or tiny for them like Loma

And those fights would all be in their home country with a full set of home officials and none of them have ever once fought an opponent in their opponent's country with a ref and three home judges from their opponent's country one.

How many times have any of them ever been outweighed by 2, 3 or 4 divisions and giving away just under six inches in reach? Literally never

Loma doing things routinely or often they've literally never done once

You can't make this poop up

Loma won that fight and all his usual suspect haters know he did.

“B.. But he already know what I’m tryna do daddy!!!”

Vasyl had that boy in panic mode in between rounds. Lol

And you know what’s weird?? The same ones that insisted after this fight “To beat the champ you gotta REALLY beat him convincingly!!!” are the SAME idiots that insist Ward and Canelo did that in their first fights against Kovalev and GGG. GTFOH

Yes I totally agree with this a lot of people don't understand the toll that a robbery takes on a fighter. They put their heart and soul into the biggest moment of their career only to get robbed. This happened to Jeff Fenech after the Azumah Nelson robbery.

And to think they promoted it as a chess match. Haney was playing checkers, and only managed to remain competitive because he dehydrates like a mummy.

Of course he moved up right after the fight. Hopefully Lopez gets him.

Sadly I believe this is the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I simply can't get in to boxing like I used to. There is no honor. I understand it is all about the money, but the soul has been sucked out of the sport.

Yeah this fight was a massive blow for me. I know a lot of fighters get robbed and it is horrible but for some reason it stung more with a guy like Loma he represents everything that is great about the sport he moves up weight classes always trying to challenge the best available he doesn't play BS diva games like rehydration clauses or anything like that never tries compromising his opponents always wants a fair fight. When they announced the decision to Haney I was like **** this sport.

This is a great point, and something I felt very disillusioned by over the years too. There are a few different kinds of robberies, sometimes the prospect gets the rub of the green over the tough journeyman, or a draw is given when the b-side clearly won etc - but the examples above always disillusioned me towards the sport the most because the robbed fighters lost their greatest claim to ATG status. That is the biggest robbery of all - their signature wins, or the win that burnishes their case for ATG status the most.

Kovalev was sacrificed to Ward to promote this rabid narrative that Ward was the p4p great, GGG lost as Canelo was the cashcow and idol. But Loma was just robbed in the pursuit of making Haney a star. It’s akin to the Kovalev one the most in that manner.

The sad thing is, had the above got the wins, the rematches and narratives would’ve ensured an even BETTER story for all involved. It’s gross.

The Commission saw the fight , they know Loma was robbed. Why dont they do their job & insist on a rematch?
Haney knows he didn't come close to winning. just more proof of corruption in my book
