I still can't get over the Loma Haney robbery and I never will

A home ref and three home judges which only happens in one country in the world for world title fights between a home fighter vs a foreigner and even worse is almost the norm over there - go check out the nationalities of the officials for both Haney vs Kambosos fights in Australia

100% Haney would never have traveled over there if they were Australian

But was also given at least a 36 hour weigh in - for a fight between the biggest weight bully in the sport and biggest 135 pounder I've ever seen vs the smallest 135 pounder in the sport

Then we have one of the three home judges scoring Loma vs GRJ a draw despite the fact Loma paddled GRJ's ass and dominated the fight with ease

And one of the three home judges scoring Loma vs the two division bigger Teofimo 119-109 for the later despite the fact that Loma clearly swept the vast majority of the rounds in the second half of the fight

And one of the three judges even gave Nakatanni 2 rounds against Loma despite the fact that it was a one-sided massacre and Loma beat him to a pulp and clearly won every round

''But Loma ducking Shakur doe''

Like he doesn't finally realize he won't get a fair shake and will need to win via KO to come away with a draw

In his third weight class alone, one he's tiny for, he's fought the way bigger ''Four Kings'' Teofimo and Haney in their country with a home ref and three home judges and would've fought one of the other ''Four Kings'' Twink long ago if Twink hadn't been ducking him like crazy for the last seven years even though Twink would've had home advantage, a home ref and three home judges and Loma would've needed a KO to come away with a draw

Meanwhile none of these other ''Kings'' are fighting each other despite the fact they're roughly the same size a each other or at least bigger than Loma, not 2, 3 or 4 divisions lighter, are all ether huge or big for their division or certainly not small or tiny for them like Loma

And those fights would all be in their home country with a full set of home officials and none of them have ever once fought an opponent in their opponent's country with a ref and three home judges from their opponent's country one.

How many times have any of them ever been outweighed by 2, 3 or 4 divisions and giving away just under six inches in reach? Literally never

Loma doing things routinely or often they've literally never done once

Yes, the Loma-Haney debacle still makes me sick as well. It was so disgusting yet so predictable. Loma always gets the short end of the stick.

I've never quite gotten over Kovalev vs Ward (1&2). Not only were these fights the final nail in the coffin for HBO, they exposed boxing for the disreputable political monstrosity it is rather than an organized sport.

And to think they promoted it as a chess match. Haney was playing checkers, and only managed to remain competitive because he dehydrates like a mummy.

Yep if Haney wasn't such a massive dude who dehydrates like a zombie he would've been on his butt. The size difference was the only thing that stopped Loma from putting him on his butt he was ready to go in the 10th and 11th but the sheer size of him kept him on his feet.

Even Haney knows he lost that fight, but they weren't going to give it to the ageing Eastern European.. the American boxing establishment needs to build its next gen of Mayweather wannabes at all costs.. like you & many others I don't think that fight was even close, I think it was a clear cut Loma UD. Yes for whatever reason he didn't turn up for Lopez, I can't argue that one ... but this was a flat out robbery! I'm almost on autopilot with boxing these past few years I just dip in and out, i don't bother with it like I used to do.. and I don't think that the future is looking too great for the sport in general, I bet in 20 years it's probably not even going to exist unless in a very niche way..

Well I think Lomachenko did actually lose to Salido and Lopez on scorecards, although the Salido fight should've been a DQ win for Lomachenko due to how many low blows Salido landed.

But I had Loma beating Haney 7-5.

We've had to suffer some egregious robberies down the years, but I'm not sure this one qualifies.

7-5 type deal that could have conceivably gone either way depending on your criteria and/or allegiances.

Loma was robbed, because he is not from US/UK. it's that simple.

Loma still has a chance to become a champion at 130.

I believe he can still stop all 130 champions at the age of 36
