Awful lot of "TKO's" being mentioned.

I'll raise you Hart - Briscoe.

    Moore - Morrow/Bivins
    Olivares - Cervantes
    Liston - Martin
    Mugabi - Norris
    Jaime Garza - Meza/Villasana
    Bob Satterfield - Henry Hall
Andy Ganigan - Lira/Vazques/Arguello....just to throw the cat amongst the pigeons.

Briscoe was a powerful puncher surely - 53ko out of 66 wins. Perhaps he wasnt as powerful as Hart but was no featherfist like Vito

True enough. Arguello too and a couple more. Needed to be "lighter hitting"

Edit - Inside the thread it does say "weaker hitter" so i'm sorta kinda perhaps mildly covered

Yeah, a lot of the guys mentioned in previous examples weren't exactly "light-hitting"..."Lighter" hitting might be a better term to use.

    Anyway,

    Pep vs Wright IV
    Whitaker vs Nazario
    Mamby vs DeJesus and Kim.

James Kirkland 30 stoppages out of 34 wins was stopped in 1 round by Nobuhiro Ishida who only had 11 stoppages in 27 wins.

KO artist Julian Jackson was stopped by Verno Phillips who had a modest 21 stoppages in 42 wins.

Rahman had 41 stoppages out of 50 wins.

Hagler had 52 stoppages out of 62 wins.

    Not exactly light hitting.

How about Nobuhero Ishida ? the feather fisted fighter blasting out the so called Mandingo Warrior James Kirkland in round one decked him 3 times for a TKO. I'll bet Ann Wolfe gave Kirkland an ass kicking too after that embarrassment lol
