It seems like both fighters need to face different top-ten opponents again to assess their true abilities. It feels strange to say that about Fury, the reigning champion.

    Fury is totally shot.

When you indulge in alcoholism, cocaine abuse, PEDs, obsesity and weight loss (which is just as **** for your heart and muscles as weight gain), and have a few hard fights on top fo that, 35 is the end of the road.

He cannot get it back at this point. He will never be in shape again, even Fury shape.

We all thought it was a mismatch before the fight, but Ngannou fought much better than wilder, in fact I thought he won. it's robbery.. What did you guys think?

Yes, it is shameful. Fury has disgraced himself, his family tradition, and boxing. He should really just retire.

Fury is the one who should be ashamed for tarnishing the image of the sport. Whether someone thinks he deserved the decision or not doesn't change the fact that the lineal Heavyweight champion got dropped by someone with 0 amateur and professional Boxing experience, while looking uncoordinated and clueless in the process. We've seriously got Joe Rogan calling this one of the best combat sports achievements of all time, and that Ngannou would beat most Heavyweights in the world today for crying out loud.

Fury needs a goal to achieve, and I think he has run out of motivation. Then again whenever everyone counts the man out, he manages to rise to the occasion and shock everyone.
You just can't out crazy "real" crazy.

Fury disgraced himself. Not Boxing, worse guys beat better fighters before.
Ngannou can fight, he is not a NASCAR driver that put on gloves and fought Fury. Of course, Fury being the lineal champion in a division that is hot for a few years, it is a bad look for the sport too, I know that. But there is a bit of a overreaction in saying that he killed boxing or that boxing was embarassed...

Well, he did, didn´t he ? He beat in most scorecards the man that took the belts from Wlad and beat Wilder twice. And I feel that Fury is not done, at all, and is going to beat Usyk, he will rematch Ngannou and beat Ngannou in a clear decision but he is not stopping Ngannou.

They could have awarded a draw considering Fury Vs. Wilder 1. So many would be satisfied. IMO - they should :)

a world champion pro boxer that is even operating at 25% should still be able to out box an MMA guy with zero boxing fights, zero amateur experience. You are coping my friend.

People who had watched the mma fights and knew how roided he was, that he had chin and big power, and were being realistic ... should have realised it was a risky fight under the circumstances (where overconfident Fury and his clown trainer were taking it lightly like an exo).

It was clearly utterly stupid to take this fight as the opponent was way more dangerous than people were making out and if he landed was very likely going to be able to drop or KO anyone. It shouldn't have surprised people that he was able to land and hurt Fury, especially Fury fighting aggressive. It was also clear FUry might struggle to stop him, so it was going to be hard to look good anyway.

Boxing fans are deluded and think nobody but 'legit' boxers can land punches or hurt boxers. They make up stories like the mma fighters are 'novices fighting their first boxing match!' to pretend they just came over from baseball. We're talking about 'pro' fighters who've spent many years training to punch/defend and sparring all the time, with specific boxing coaches for their striking, and with sparring partners who are actually boxers. Then people act like they have no idea in a boxing ring. The fact is plenty of mma fighters basically kickbox with takedown defence, and many of those barely ever kick.

It's actually somewhat impressive Fury was able to take the power, recover and manage to adapt and win still, when everything went wrong on such a big stage, and with probably the worst HW trainer going around in his corner.

Having said that, Fury deserves all the bashing for making that fight, being too cocky and humiliating himself. The only problem is that 'Sugar' just got away with murder here, being largely responsible for what happened due to his incompetence, but avoiding the heat.

He should, but Ngannou didn´t have zero experience fighting with his hands. This is like a theater actor going to make a movie, it is different but not completely different like people try to make it seem.
Boxing champions spar MMA champions all the time, and the spar session is not finished in the first round becasue the mma guy cannot keep up with, at all.

Fury should´ve won, of course, I was shocked that Ngannou actually has a case to get a win...I just said that boxing people are overreacting over this.
