He's going to be waiting a while for Crawford since Bud has zero interest in that fight.

Wish these fighters would stop worrying about fantasy matches that aren't going to happen and just face the best they can. You know, fight those who are actually interested in fighting two or three times a year.

Hope Boots stays busy and has continued success.

I'll be down for that fight, but I see Boots breaking him down and stopping Barrios around the 8th-9th round.

Quite like this fight given Ennis' current circumstances, doesn't really seem much out there for him. Would be better if Barrios was full WBC champion but doesn't appear likely.

Difficult to see where they go from here though should he win:
    (a) Staying at 147 and potentially unifying with the Thurman-Stanionis winner if that fight gets made for the full WBA.
    (b) Going up to 154 to chase Crawford-Spence winner; maybe try and grab a belt there (eg. Murtazaliev-Culcay IBF winner in a fight that's commercially terrible but extremely winnable).

He's in a difficult position. Who's really going to come up to 147 soon that's worth staying for - maybe Teofimo?

Mucho respect to Mario also. Has taken on good opposition last few times out. Tank, Once Upon A Time Thurman, Ugas and now looking like Boots. Good for him. But Jaron beats him. Busts him up good

This and Ennis wouldn’t get much credit. Rather see Ennis fight Stan.

Boots doesn’t have many good options. I hope he will stay at 147 because even at 154 I don’t think he will get Crawford.

Best to hope that one of the 140s moves up or else someone emerges at 147.

Ennis is on another level compared to Stanionis. That would basically be Villa 2.0
