    Former undisputed lightweight champion George Kambosos Jr. and three-weight titleholder and pound-for-pound entrant Vasiliy Lomachenko may be headed to a clash in a stadium in Australia next spring.

    It is believed the two will collide for the vacant IBF lightweight title. The target date is April 14, which would be April 13 in the US.

    At this point in his career, I am not sure what this fight does for Lomachenko. Like Canelo Alvarez, the erosion of Loma's skills has been noticeable in his last few fights. This is not to say he's not still very good, he just isn't what he was.

    So many on this website have said that Lomachenko is undersized at 135 and I agree, yet he keeps choosing lightweight fights. I'd love to see him go back down to 130 and try to get a title fight with Emanuel Navarrete or O'Shaquie Foster.

    Edit: If I had bothered to read the whole X (Twitter) post in the OP I would have seen this fight was for a world title. Yes, since it is for a world title this is a good fight for Loma. Please ignore me completely. :duh

    Very good fight.

    If Loma wins this he needs a rematch with Haney, or if Haney leaves he can fight Davis in a unification.

    Either way it sets up a big fight for him and a winnable fight for him.

    Go Back down to 130, no point in staying at 135. no way he beats Shakur in another year, Haney isnt going to rematch him and even if he did it would be tougher than before

    Loma is on borrowed time now.. this isn't a bad fight but it does nothing for him really.. but then again what does .. the guy can't even get a fair shake when he legit schools the top tier... I suppose he's just ticking over now til father time Roy Jones' him.. but I'll watch because he's not going to be around for much longer

    Well I guess if Loma wins which he should he would've beat the man that gave Teofimo Lopez his only loss.
