Wasserman are doing terribly. Lee McGregor lost in July. Matty Harris lost on the same card. Codie Smith drew today. Nathan Gorman lost today. Kash Ali lost recently.

Their best fighter in Josh Kelly is fighting on DAZN instead of Channel 5. I think it would be better for Wasserman to just broadcast select shows on DAZN and end their relationship with Channel 5. The Sauerlands have a strong relationship with Hearn so they could collaborate to help boost Wasserman’s cards.

 

I can see Channel 5 binning off boxing if Wasserman don’t improve their output.

It’s a contract worth roughly £300k per year after all.
