Lewis violates Fury seven days a week and twice on Sunday, it’s almost a mismatch tbh, if Fury was in Lewis’ era he’d have been sparked a fair few times and struggled to even win a British title
I agree Lewis beats Fury but I think Fury would be competitive in any era, he’s an elite heavyweight.
Lewis beats VLADD Fury on pts. Twenty stone Gypsy tank Fury from Wilder II is a H2H monster against any heavy from history born from his mother. I pick Fury by stoppage.
Fury’s wins: W. Klitschko, Wilder x2 Fury’s draw: Wilder 3-0-1 Lewis’s wins: V. Klitschko, Holyfield Lewis’s draw: Holyfield Lewis’s losses: McCall, Rahman 2-2-1 “If he can’t punch at 250 pounds plus then there’s no point being a heavyweight contender. What’s more concerning is Fury’s capacity to take a shot. No light heavyweight or cruiserweight ever came close to getting me down. I don't see where Tyson Fury has boxed anybody of Wladimir's calibre to be able to get in the ring with Wladimir and do well. I don’t think Fury can contend with Wladimir at this point in his career.” - Lewis, 2015, illustrating his pronounced egotism and tendency toward underestimation. "When he (Wlad) can’t hit the target with the left, he won’t have the confidence to release the right. Then what? He’s an Emanuel Steward fighter and I know how he thinks." - Fury, 2015 2014/2015 Fury wins by UD 2020 Fury wins by KO
Lewis for me, unlike Wlad, Lewis had that dog in him and would get the win and possibly get the stoppage.
Fury has no chance against Lewis who can only be brutally knocked out by the calibre of Hasim Rahman and Oliver McCall.
He has a chance it’s more just that Lewis is far more proven. If Ngannou, Wilder, and Wallin can give Fury trouble, Lewis certainly can (and vis-versa).
We get you don’t like Lewis but if Ngannou, an 0-0 novice can nearly beat Fury, I’m sure Lewis would have sparked him out. Lewis has a way deeper resume and his wins over Vitali and Holyfield are better than Fury’s wins over Wilder.
I agree. In the present era, he’s the number one, cemented in if he beats Usyk. You can’t help the era you perform in, and Fury has done a good job thus far. He fiddled his way to victory against Klitschko imo, and the rematch would of told us a lot more, but unfortunately never happened. Fury dominates in an era lacking an abundance of solid opposition. The Wilder trilogy was entertaining but beating a game puncher doesn’t tell us a lot, other than you are the better boxer/fighter, and can get up if put on the floor. Also, the politics of boxing hangs heavy round it’s neck. Matches are now more or less impossible to make unless there is a pot of gold the size of a football pitch on offer. This doesn’t help fighters prove that they are the best. Fury is an awesome fighter, but against moderate opposition so far.
The fact you only listed 2 wins out of Lewis entire resume tells everyone everything they need to know about this post. Weak bit of trolling. Fury could very easily have Ngannou and McDermott on his losses
