    Conlan’s punch resistance has gone

Every time he got clipped by Gill, there was a reaction… numerous times his legs were stiffened throughout the fight.

At first viewing I thought the stoppage may have been early but upon seeing the replays, I thought Foster was spot on.

His legs stiffened, he went backwards towards the corner then his head was down as he was shipping a lot of shots he looked done and neither Conlan or anyone in his team complained at the decision.

Great win on away soil for Jordan Gill and after hearing what he’s been through in the past year, I’m really pleased for him. I hope he kicks on from this now.

Terrific job by Jordan Gill, he did us all a big favour, great to hear Britain’s fighter of the year, Leigh Wood, speaking the only sense the whole show, backing Jordan.
All this in the face of the outrageously biased,“commentary” bunch, we have to put up with, easily the worst in the business!!!

He’s a good boxer but he always gets himself in a brawl which he doesn’t have the tools for. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good to watch as a spectator but has probably cost him a better career than he’s enjoyed.

yeah the commentary was absolutely bollocks again , that’s 2 weeks in a row

I found the commentary in the Williamson v Agyarko fight particularly sh1te…. At one point Williamson pushed Agyarko back onto the ropes and reeled off about 7 or 8 shots, commentary said absolutely **** all then continued to blow smoke up Agyarko’s arse

A good boxer? Where has that myth come from.

His first 7 or 8 fights with Top Rank were boring and he was made to look slow and clumsy

Conlan is a walking example of how you can be elite in the amateurs and poor in the pros

he’s incredibly weak at all aspects of boxing other than spamming shots for 3 rounds - power, durability, tactics, gear changes, physicality…

I thought Gill was really good tonight, the move up in weight has helped him massively and probably something he should’ve done 2-3 years ago.

    looked much more solid

    I'll second that.
Dazn commentary is unbelievably biased to the point of making themselves look stupid. It's embarrassing it really is.!

Really enjoyed the Crocker v McKenna fight.

Crocker looked far heavier handed and some of the explosive shots he landed were superb… won the fight all ends up but **** me it was a fun watch and McKenna is one tough man.

Cracked me up watching them giving each other stick throughout the fight and waving each other on.

interested to see what Crocker does next. As for McKenna, as tough as he proved tonight, he doesn’t want to continue taking heavy shots like that

Mate, Why don’t you come in into the real forum (the classic) and tell us how many indigenous English Fighters are in the hall of fame?

And for the record “Gill” is an Irish name, and what about the big galoot Galway shawl himself?

Yes indeed, toe curling, but it could have been even worse, had not the lure of untold riches for drinking assorted vessels of snot, not dragged one of them, “down under”!!!
