Look I know you're a massive Mayweather but please clearly Welterweight was not Hattons best weight.

No one is saying Hatton beats Mayweather at Jr Welterweight, but Hattons best weight was clearly Jr Welterweight......that's a fact he fought 40+ fights at that weight.

As I said why do you think Hatton moved back down immediately to Jr Welterweight after almost losing to Collazo ?

It’s been about 20 posts now and you still haven’t answered my questions from a while back:
Did Hatton look good at his first 147lbs fight when he fought and arguably lost against C level Collazo? Did he not move straight back down to 140lbs?

At this point I don’t ever expect you to answer these very basic questions

Collazo was never C level troll that right there shows you don't know **** about boxing he hung around too long but was a quality operator in his prime. The fact is he fought Collazo who had a belt at the weight and won disproves anything about him not looking good.
Hatton called pbf out said he'd go back up to 147 to face pbf and got worked period. Years prior Hatton turned down pbf at 140 saying he wasn't ready so pbf moved up to 147. Blame Hatton for the fight not happening at 140 not pbf.

Nice reminder that Pac did it better at Hatton's best weight. Made it look much easier. Thanks!

At 147 Hatton should have lost to Collazo.

Collazo was always C level. You're embarrassing yourself lapdogging for Mayweather. Collazo was never a quality operator. Please let me know about Collazo's best wins.

And no, Hatton looked **** against Collazo, and most thought he lost. Now you're just denying reality. No one can have a debate with you to be honest, completely biased.

He moved down because he realized that he couldn't maul men as big as Collazo. He was exactly the same at 147; the tactics that he imployed just didn't work as well.

He moved back up to fight a man that was roughly the same as him, though, and got his heart took.

No Hatton was not the same fighter at 147 that's why he fought primarily at 140 his whole career....

No one is denying Mayweather is a better fighter but no need to make a false statement that Hatton was equally as good at 147 because he wasn't.

You weren't following boxing back then simply looking at records and thinking you know boxing. Lmfao! You're nothing more than a banned alt troll with an axe to grind. Collazo wasn't a C level fighter dummy he was a B level worldclass fighter and a title holder.

Collazo gave him a good fight because he's not a bum as you claim. He had a tricky style and could box. Hatton jumped straight up to 147 dropped Collazo and got the job done against a bigger man. The fact is pbf is just better than Hatton and with your wishful thinking you seem to think Hatton somehow beats pbf at 140. Like I said earlier blame Hatton not pbf for the fight not happening at that weight. You can't try and discredit the win when it suits your agenda.

Hatton had no chance with Cortez against him and at 147.
Im sure if its 140 and he gets the fight it out he would gave done mich better. Still dont think it would be enough to win but could be a Maidana type fight.

You mean if Hatton got his own ref again then he had a chance. The refereeing on the Hatton KT was atrocious - every bit as bad as the Ottke Robin Reid fight. He allowed Hatton to do whatever he wanted, holding, wrestling, rabbit punches, et al. He only called break when Hatton gave him the nod.

Ricky suffered because it was the first time he was made to abide by the rules. Floyd was levels above him, and would have been at 140 too. He had no chance really, as he wasn’t prepared for fighting at elite level with the rules being followed. Hatton was above 30 fights deep before he fought anyone with a pulse.

A good fighter, but massively over rated due to the home cooking and well managed career.
