Teo isn't playing next year. Ortiz in Feb then a potential fight in June against Mattias, just shows that he's willing to fight the best. Gotta love it.

Jamaine will have one of the best resumes for a young fighter. Defo a G.

    He really can’t get a 140 pounder?
Rolly? Ramirez? Jack the Cat? Martin rematch?

    Bruh.

Props to Ortiz for stepping up but unless he’s having trouble making 35, he deserves another shot down there.

ramirez ducked and hes likely using it as a tune up for matias, in which case its still a challenging enough fight. theyre about the same size so i have no real issue with it

Ortiz is huge for lightweight, not sure why there are so many comments about the weight like it’s a big deal.

This is a good fight and Teo has continually showed a willingness to challenge himself and make good fights happen.

Teo scared to fight Martin again. I hope Ortiz beats his sorry ass.

Ortiz has fought most of his career between 135-140.

He looked big against Loma. Size wont be an issue here.

I can roll with this. Ortiz is a good fighter and gave Loma a good tussle. A fight against Teo would be fun.

Gotta respect Teo for not wasting any time and fighting the best available opponents.

Not wasting any time? He will have fought only 5 times in 4 years by the date of this fight. Any only 20 fights in his entire career. Not exactly an exhausting schedule for a young man.

Bro, I would much prefer to see Teo against Subriel or Devin Fairy, but it is what it is.

I just meant going straight to a reasonable opponent right away after beating Josh Taylor and then trying to go after Matias. Fighting 4 times next year would help make up for his lack of activity. Not sure if they'll stay true to their word but this is at least a good start.

Decent fight but I’d be more excited if this was someone at 140. This is a stack 140, no need to pull up someone from 135.
