Bantamweight and featherweight Rockabye Ruben Olivares is my favorite slugger. The man could put people to sleep.

Just loved the slugging from Cotto. A rare blend of boxing and brawling. His jab was a hard brick that landed far left, not a lazer beam piston like jab up the middle, but hard in its own right. His slugging against Floyd was phenomenal. Same thing earlier in in his career from the pinto fight.

It was either his jab or left hook that left Paulie Malignaggi s face look like that of a chipmunk. He wounded pacnans ear in a grotesque way almost as though a cauliflower ear, and he sure bloodied up the nose of pretty boy Floyd junior.

Such an elegant style, and brutal, the quintessential boxer puncher

The lines are often blurred when talking about the main styles, Slugger, Swarmer, Out boxer ,infighter, Counterpuncher and voxer puncher but when it comes to pure Sluggers, two 70's heavyweights come to mind as being my favorites to watch. Foreman and Ron Lyle. Saad Muhammad comes to mind as well but then again, some would argue he was a boxer puncher which at times he was.

    Two from the early-mid 80's J.Jackson and J.Mugabi .
Both had highlight reel ko's over good compitition.
Mugabi's run through the limited but tough as nails
    Jersey/Philly middleweights was especially
    impressive.

The one and only George Foreman. The most famous slugger of all time.

Smoking Bert Cooper. I was a fan of Lamon Brewster as well, some great fights in an otherwise boring heavyweight era.

If we're talking about a boxer-puncher, then it's Mr Sanders.
