Spent a few years being a horrible twat, got the big fight they were looking for, gave it the big one all fight week, boxed ok for a few rounds then jacked it in when the power took over.

 

Reminded me of that fight.

Off subject anyone wonder what Rodriguez weight actually is as it looks like he could go up a fair few weights and be the larger fighter.

 

Just looking at the ssr fight again who was one of the largest in the division and he is noticably bigger.

Dubois got dog’s abuse for the Joyce fight, as did his trainer, despite the fact that he was ahead.
Edwards fought the wrong fight, got battered and had to tell his trainer to pull him out.

 

Exactly. I don't see much difference Dubois had a fractured orbital.

Lebedev was left with a shocking eye injury after losing his WBA cruiserweight title to Jones. By the end of the bout, he could not see out of the injured eye but two judges had him winning 96–94 while the third had scored the bout 97–93 before he was knocked out in the eleventh round. According to most experts, Jones should have been winning clearly, and the suspicion is that the Russian Federation had fixed the bout. This would also explain the fact that the bout was not stopped, even after Lebedev's eye was grotesquely disfigured.

Shocking that the judges had him winning the fight, by such a margin aswell.
