As we approach the big undisputed showdown between Usyk and Fury, a fight that will determine the first undisputed champion in over 20 years, who does everyone view as the best heavyweight of this century? Based on achievements I’d say it’s Wladimir Klitschko, followed by Lennox Lewis. How does everyone else see it?

Much of Lewis' career was in the 1990s.

Although I'm not a fan of his, in the 21st century to be fair it's Wladimir Klitschko.

    This.

If Lewis wasn't primarily a 90's fighter he'd get it, but as he was it's Wlad.

Wladimir is the only HW who had an actual reign in the 21st century (and no Vitali, Fury, Wilder) did not have a reign.

H2H it's Lewis but resume wise it's Wladmir. If Fury fights and beats Usyk and 1 or 2 top 10 guys I'd probably give it to him.

Wlad by a huge distance. Sure, the losses to Sanders and Brewster do hurt his all time standing a bit, but no one else in the 21st century did anywhere near as much as him, given that Lewis's best work was in the 90s.

He beat the best available opposition, made a crap ton of defenses and had one of the longest title reigns in history. Vitali, Fury and Usyk's resumes are really thin in comparison.

Lewis for me and he was Undisputed at a time. As for Wlad he may have had the trinkets but his brother was always better anyway imo .

Tend to agree with this, for me Fury needs another 4 title defences including the two fights with Usyk. I’d like to see him face Hrgovic/Zhang and then AJ to finish out his career.

I think Wlad based on achievements but from a purely h2h standpoint Lewis takes the cake followed by Vitali (and maybe Fury). I have always felt Vitali was the superior fighter of the two brothers.

Tyson Fury after he beats Usyk in destructive fashion will have proven he can beat the best of any era

Tyson Fury gets better the better the opponent you put in front of him.

    The best? Lewis
Greatest accomplishments overall? Wlad, as Lewis as already stated above did much of his work towards the end of the last Century

    H2H

    Lewis
    Vitaly
    Wlad

Time will tell with the other 2, but they are 4 and 5

    Edit quoted wrong poster

    Was meant for minq

Do you in all sincerity think that Fury could beat Lewis or a prime Holmes?

He has massive size over Holmes, but I think he gets busted up late and I don't think he survives 12 with Lewis, who although is a bit shorter, can certainly match him for strength and reach, has a much better offensive arsenal

I think Fury is a brilliant heavy at his best, but truth be told I would also pick the brothers in their prime to beat him

Wlad. Would pick Lewis if he stuck around a little longer.

    Lennox Lewis. He’d beat Wlad…
