I also have to go with Mercado. Has some better results on his CV and was more durable than Johnny against top opposition … and also better offensively. I actually think Mercado vs. Holmes would have been fun. Larry would have likely stopped him after breaking him down, but Bernardo would have been a big, sturdy and game challenger. Didn’t happen because Leon Spinks won their eliminator.
