Parkers such a weird fighter isn't he. Looks dreadful against Fa, then great against Chisora (second time), destroyed by Joyce, then great against Wilder.

Blows hot and cold. But he always makes good fights so credit to him.

Wilder will blame it on a hex Fury put on him since he's friends with Parker.

Wilder would have won if that damn dirty cheat Parker didn't load his gloves and be in cahoots with Scuba Scott. We will wait for the autopsy report after Wilder's fractured skull and you guys will learn the truth about today's travesty.

"Dangerous fight, tough fight, we trained very hard, we were focused and great momentum...the strategy that we discussed I was to stay calm, relaxed, focused, we got the win, Merry Christmas to us. Deontay's got a new coach, maybe he's applying the new things they're working on, maybe activity played a part...it's a great finish to the year...practice, work, I had to be aware all the times, he hit me on the guard, a very hard right hand...helped me massively being active, momentum, working continuously, not getting out of shape. I'm very happy...this is massive. This is the toughest opponent i've faced. What can i say? We've done a great job, all my team, thank you Tyson Fury...I'm back! Anybody. I'm ready for anybody."

Wilder had nothing in there. At no point did he ever pose any threat. Just stood there and got smacked around.

It's not Makik. Malik sucks but you can't teach someone that just wants a yes man.

They really need to stop hyping this performance from Parker. Wilder was petrified to let his hands go, fighting in a trance, with visions of The Gypsy King dancing in his head. Parker's accuracy was woeful, at best his head movement was decent. But at the end of the day, he managed to do exactly what Ortiz and Szpilka did, only avoided the right for four more rounds than they did, against a far more shot shell of the Wilder they fought. So people shouldn't get their hopes up, he's still the same guy that lost to Joyce.

Wilder has a chin. Parker fought beautifully with the strategy. Good fight.

He's been fighting like this for a while. Just against guys below Parkers level. We'll never know how much this loss has to do with age because Wilder never fought top contenders like Parker while he was prime. And when he did (Fury) he lost.
