He's an elite fighter but he's content with winning decisions. If he had a killer instinct, he'd be a savage, the complete package. I still think he beats Beterbiev tho.
I don't think he's that boring. It's not like he's late career Broner who's trying to win throwing minimum volume. He throws plenty, if that makes the other guy clam up then it's the other guy who's being boring.
He’s gotta go for it in some of these fights and be a little more exciting if he wants to get more attention/money and big fights…
If Bivol was fighting in my backyard I’d get up and draw the blinds. It’s the only fight I didn’t bother watching as I was worried he’d put me to sleep.
Brilliant but steadfastly refuses to finish off his outclassed opponent. More frustrating than the girlfriend who sends you home with blue balls.
Bivol v Beterbiev is THE fight. It's a joy to watch Bivol. Pure masterful boxing. Beterbiev is an animal and even his jab sounds horrific. These two need to see how things play out in the ring.
