Your no expert on boxing with such an opinion. Pretty much an amateur actually.

He had emense talent on the amatuer's I knew he would be a great one and he proved it the pro's...He did have a short pro career but fought some of the best in a short time....ATG indeed, much speed and power, great legs and killer instinct...smelt blood and went for the kill....Downside is he burnt out young and showed it in losses to Norris and Camacho...but prime version one of the best in Welter

Hand grenade welcome to the forum.

Truer words were never spoken. Well said!

Ray competed fairly evenly in his remedial boxing years (1984-1989) but once he stepped up in class (any fighter not on social security) watch out below!

    Great fighter:deal

    All-time top15 easy, I would say.

The scalps of Duran, Hearns, Hagler and Benitez ensure him boxing immortality. Whatever his out-of-ring activities, he was beautiful to watch in it. A real showman who, unlike a lot of other entertainers in the ring, was able to bite down on the gum-shield when he needed to and grind out the victory. A special fighter.

Who wouldn't want him around nowadays? He'd school the life out of everyone from LWW up to LHW.

    This guy is rooster.

I saw a few of his posts elsewhere, and thought that IamLegend was just having some fun. Now this poster has revealed his true identity in this thread.

I doubt he's actually Rooster, he's just a troll having some fun. Rooster is a complete idiot, but I've come to the conclusion that he actually believes what he says. This guy's just clowning, clearly from that post. Even Rooster wouldn't have gone that far.

Come to think of it, he was probably just seeing how Rooster himself would've responded to something so ludicrous.
