How would Wilder vs Ruiz have gone instead?

    Since they both would enter the fight with similar ring rust, would Wilder have gotten a better chance with Andy Ruiz?

    Always liked that fight on paper. Probably more winnable than Parker for Wilder, as Ruiz is a little smaller - but Ruiz's speed and technique could've been a nightmare on the inside.

    I feel like it would've been a more heightened version of the Parker fight if that makes sense - more chance for Wilder to catch him, but bigger consequences than the Parker fight if Ruiz did succeed on getting inside.

    It's hard to tell - Ruiz is super inconsistent.

    The Ruiz that fought Parker or AJ#1 would give Wilder fits.

    The Ruiz that fought Ortiz would get sparked in rd1.

    Wilder would fail like every time he has fought a legit proven world level HW. Wilders effectively the American Chisora is that aspect.

    Ruiz would back up Wilder, walking down with his toughness and aggression and Ruiz hands speed would be too much for Wilder.

    Wilder would win.
    Ruiz is slower on feet even than Parker and probably would took some right to head and then got massive problem.

    Its about style. Joshua lost to Ruiz only because he like going forward and let his hands go (got one of the quickest and most powerful combinationts in Hw) but this time he just go with gasolin to put out the fire. He attack on close range dude whos arm are much shorter and even quicker than him.
    He just give him gift.

    Wilder not often going to short distance and even with HORRIBLE jab work he probably in easy way avoid dangerous.

    Deontay struggles with movers, Ruiz isn’t one. I think he would have sparked him out. I don’t think Ruiz sees the final bell.

    Wilder shouldn't be messing with little men with iron chins like Ruiz Jr or Parker. If Fury had a chin on that level there wouldn't have been a Deontay Wilder anymore.

    I think wilder would have done well and much better than against Parker, maybe could win 2 or 3 rounds.

    Ruiz would have dismantled Wilder in a similar manner to Parker, constant front foot pressure, feints, step in jabs and fast flurries on the inside. Because of his height Wilder would have had an even harder time landing anything on him besides uppercuts, and Ruiz would have done more damage with his T Rex arms on any inside exchanges. Imagine that moment in the eighth with Ruiz flurrying on Wilder against the ropes instead of Parker. Brutalisation.

    No, Parker`s KO ratio is poor and Parker`s punches had less effect on J than Ruiz`s punches did.

    Explain please how is parkers KO ratio inferior to Ruiz , what does it mean?
