I see this going like Thomas vs Weaver. Thomas had the chin to take Shavers power, at least if he got nailed with a few good shots, but he would have to be careful. I see him stopping Shavers late.
Pinklon would stop Shavers in the late rounds. Pinky could take a punch and he could punch himself, Thomas also had the better endurance and boxing IQ.
I think Thomas easily jabs him to death and takes the occasional good shot. I honestly don't see Shavers having much chance.
Pink was a level over Shavers, overall. Pink is superior in every department except one punch power and handspeed. (Shavers had very fast hands according to Ron Lyle).
It took Mike Tyson like 20 clean punches when Thomas was seriously hurt to finish him off, so Thomas can definitely take any single punches from Shavers if he is hit clean. And Thomas's extra skills great jab and durability should get him a stoppage in the 2nd half of the fight.
Pinky should get a decision or maybe stop him late, but he really has to be focused. Berbick only out pointed him, Shavers could khtfo.
